A2 Milk | Fresh Milk from Pasture-Raised Jersey Cows
This is the way we are supposed to enjoy milk – our Raw A2 Milk, sourced from healthy pasture-raised Jersey cows that graze on lush, natural pasture. Free from added hormones and routine antibiotics, our milk is carefully handled to preserve its natural enzymes, beneficial fats and wholesome flavour.
Unlike conventional milk, A2 milk contains only the A2 beta-casein protein, making it a preferred choice for many people seeking a more natural dairy option. Produced from Jersey cows that naturally produce the A2 protein, our milk offers a rich, creamy taste with a beautiful golden colour thanks to its naturally higher butterfat and beta-carotene content.
At Papyrus Natural, we believe healthy animals produce healthy food. The cows are raised with care on open pasture, allowing them to express their natural behaviours while producing nutrient-rich milk from a grass-based diet. Every bottle is collected with the utmost care to maintain freshness and quality.

Here is a wonderful extract from an article on the “need to knows” of storing your Clean A2 milk: (Article : https://www.diys.com/raw-milk/)
Milk can be stored in freezer bags that are then stacked to save space, or in hard, freezer-safe containers.
- To store in freezer bags, stand the freezer bag up in a bowl and turn the sides down for easier pouring.
- Pour the desired amount of raw milk into the bag, leaving some headroom for expansion.
- Seal and label the bags and then place them in the coldest part of the freezer for even freezing.
- If using hard containers, fill until there is about an inch of headroom leftover, then tightly seal the lid.
The next time you want to use that raw milk you have in your freezer, you have to go through a few steps:
- When thawing raw milk, it’s important that it thaws in the refrigerator so that harmful bacteria does not get a chance to grow.
- Be sure to keep thawed raw milk refrigerated. For best results, it should be within 24 hours. Never refreeze previously frozen raw milk.
- You may notice that the milk has taken on a yellowish hue or that there are ice crystals in it. This is due to the water and the fat content separating upon freezing.
